The Purpose and Mission of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church
We are to be “Christ Centered Servants
The congregation of St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ferndale, PA, established 1752, is a Christ centered community which continues to be faithfully committed to the proclamation of God’s Word. We are dedicated to glorifying our Lord through worship, learning and outreach ministry; serving and caring for the individual, the family, the community and the world.
To the glory of Christ, we are to be Christ centered servants, dedicated to glorifying him by being loving, compassionate, forgiving and loyal.
With the help of God, we will attempt to fulfill this mission through our work to serve him in the following ministry areas: Witness, Support, Learning, Service and Worship.
